Drill Baby Drill, is Dumb Baby Dumb!

One reason why we need to elect Barack Obama.  In the words of Marriner Eccles, FDR’s Chairman of the Fed, after the Great Depression – In consequence, as in a poker game where the chips were concentrated in fewer and fewer hands, the other fellows could stay in the game only by borrowing. When their credit ran out, the game stopped.

The pendulum has swung so far right that in order to get it anywhere near the middle again we are going to need to go to the left. If we go even further to the right it will stick and the Middle-Class will never see it again.

We have been here before, tax cut’s for Billionaire’s is not going to get us out of this.

We need a New Deal again, a Green Energy New Deal. We need our Government to create jobs to get our economy going again. There are no more jobs we lost 159,000 last month and I think the latest figure this month is 60,000ish so far. Drill baby Drill is Dumb baby Dumb. The mantra should be Invent Baby Invent. But we will not get this for John McCain or Sarah Palin.

  1. I agree. Anyone who believes that U.S. domestic production will allow energy independance or will bring down the price of crude, is living in a dream world. Drilling rigs are costing up to 200k a day to rent, and demand is only getting worse. The US is probably the most heavily explored land mass in the world, there are only little finds left.

  2. I think it’s just a matter of time to lose our earth, if we don’t act now.
